Vangie
Vangie was a writer/photographer/surfer, among other things, on a mission of documenting on the Net her adventure travels in the Philippines and around the world, hoping that you, too, will be inspired with the places she had the opportunity to visit. She passed away on Friday, 3 May, 2003 on Lake Caliraya, Manila, when she was hit by a speedboat while she was swimming. Personally i first met Vangie in Siargao island in 1997, and was captivated by her vibrancy and spirit, she had an enthusiasm for life that belongs only to those that have a generosity of self.
